As of 5/18: Though the City of St. Louis has lifted restrictions, the LaunchCode Mentor Center is closed until further notice. All of LaunchCode staff is still available via email.

St. Louis Courses 

LC101 at SLU:

As of 4/17: The timeline of this course has been extended to accommodate for adjustment to remote classes. If you are a student and have questions, you can reach out to your group’s TA or Course Manager, Greg Wesloh, [email protected], with any further questions.

As of 3/24 : We learned the individual referenced below tested negative for COVID-19. We continue to urge our community to adhere to CDC’s guidelines on preventing transmission of the disease, as well as city and state mandates.

As of 3/21: On March 21, we were notified of a suspected case of COVID-19 within your class community (LC101 – January 2020). The individual has been tested and is awaiting the results, which should be received in five days. The individual reported attending class on Monday, March 2, as well as an in-person study session on Thursday March 5, before reporting being symptomatic.

In compliance with CDC’s recommendations, the team at LaunchCode has notified the St. Louis City Department of Health, as well as St. Louis University. As soon as we are notified of the test results, we will communicate that information to you as soon as possible.

I want to reiterate that the safety and wellbeing of you – our LaunchCode family – is the most important thing to us. We are sharing this information with you proactively to not only keep you informed, but also in hopes that you are adhering to CDC’s guidelines on preventing transmission of the disease, as well as adhering to city and state mandates. Even though this individual has not been in contact with the LaunchCode community since the first week in March, we still ask you pay close attention to your wellbeing and seek proper care if you feel ill. We’re in this together. 

As of 3/12: Class will be held as normal in-person with the option to join remotely through Thursday, March 12. Beginning Monday, March 16, all classes will be remote. CoderGirl at the Mentor Center:

Ongoing Course Applications:

As of 3/12: Applications for the next Immersive CodeCamp at STLCC course beginning in May and the next LC101 beginning in April are not affected at this time.
